Canon RC-6 remote

Hi All,

jst wondering if anyone has any experience in this as a cheapish remote release? Thinking of using with the 500d, also can yu operate in bulb mode?

I use one with my 7d, really simple and easy... Never tried bulb..... will try tonight 4 you

I use the Hahnel equivalent - same spec by much cheaper.

any idea what the model name is? can pick up the canon for under £20 at Argos at the mo

Ok I just tested it.

Camera set to bulb

Rc-6 set to instant (Has 2 second delay or instant)

press = open shutter
press 2 = close shutter
