I‘be just got my R7 together with its kit lens. Using the camera’s menu, I can customise the RF-S kit lens control ring, in my case so that it controls exposure compensation. The RF 100-500L also has a control ring, but when I go to the camera menu, it says customisation is not possible with this lens. Does anyone know if that’s true across the whole range of RF lenses/ R7 combo? Better still, has anyone made it work?
