Prompted by the other thread on the R5 button assignment (I have played with it extensively) I am wondering if its possible to set a button to fire my remote camera. I have a remote trigger that sits on the hotshoe and whenever i press the shutter button it also fires the remote camera.
However there are times where i want to fire the remote camera but not the main camera - I am wondering if there is a way to assign a button to do this.
I thought maybe via some sort of flash button that activates the hot shoe on which the remote transmitter sits would do it?
I don't think this is possible but wondering if anyone else had tried it and managed to get a workable solution.
My current workable solution is to do away with the transmitter on the hotshoe and velcro it to the lens so i can fire it with my little finger - works but a bit fiddly.
