Hi R5 and other Canon R users. Quick question, I just bought a R5 used and the shutter has some marks on it. Hopefully it shows in the attached photo.

Is this something to worry about or just common to these cameras and does not impact operation? The camera seems to work just fine.

Thanks!

mine does not have them - but I'm sure yours is fine

I would be more concerned about what caused the marks, my first thought was some sort of contact - what was it?

looks like moulding street marks to me - are the marks on the surface r within the material I wonder

I’d drop an email on Canon asking for their view on this.

Thanks all - decided to be cautious and the seller has accepted a return for this.
