Hi all, probably been asked before but here goes.

I have the CANON PRO 9000MK2 printer and if I wish to print using adobe manage colour with icc profiles for the relevant paper, it says to switch off the printer driver. How do you do this or is it automatically switched off when you select " adobe manage colour " from the drop down menu. Can't find anywhere in the Canon printer driver with an on/off button.

Hope someone can help as I have looked at the canon website but to no avail.

What operating system are you using?

Windows 7 64bit, adobe cs5 + elements9

Try this.
In the Canon Pro9000 Properties dialog:

Main tab
Color/Intensity area, select Manual, then "Set..."
Matching Tab
Set Color Correction to "None"

Thanks for the reply Russ, will give it a go, which one do I highlight if I want to switch the canon driver back on?

Hi Russ, thanks for the links, they look pretty useful, why can't canon be as clear as this.:bang:

It took me a while to work this out on my MP620 but my prints have been much better since letting PS manage colour.

Depends on how long you've been home printing as to how quick you find it.

I was lucky with Epson printer as I went to Epson on a colour printing course, it gave me an idea where to look in the Canon software.

You shouldnt need to turn it back on unless you change what software you use.
