Canon posts unedited video clips from EOS 5D Mark II

Late yesterday, Canon posted three unedited, direct-from-the-camera video clips recorded with a preproduction EOS 5D Mark II by Vincent Laforet during the making of Reverie. The three clips are intended to show the capture quality of the camera in low light. Each includes ambient sound from the built-in microphone as well.

Spectacular.
I honestly believe that through these new releases of digital SLRs with video functions, it will open up a whole new era of wannabe film makers, in the same way that digital made it possible for amateur photographers to take their hobby to the next level due to the ability to take plenty of images without the undesirable costs of processing and printing.
