I have and use jessops cheap photo paper and it comes out dry

is the paper the right way up , i have done this and my ink took 6 weeks to dry, or have you tried different paper

I use Ilford papers. It's dry to touch within the hour but I like to leave it a day before framing just to make sure it's cured properly.

older swellable papers with dye ink take longer than an instant to dry. if you use pigment ink on these types if paper the ink jut sits onthe surface. so called instant dry papers are pretty much dry from when you take it from the printer but you should leave them for 24 hours before you put them behind glass.
