My mg6150 multi-function printer has worked flawlessly for over 4 years but has now jammed. I think part of a sheet of plain paper is stuck inside it, although I can't see anything.

I just get Error c000 every time I turn it on and that's it.

There's so much contradictory advice on the web about this. including one guy who says you might as well chuck it away and buy another.....

Well, I could do that but I've got a stock of expensive Canon ink cartridges to use up if possible.

Any suggestions?

Hi Jeremy

I surmise you found this error code "help" at canon. Http://www.canon.co.uk/support/consumer_products/product_ranges/printers/pixma/error_codes/#C000

In common with IMO both Epson and canon when they get old with insurmountable errors they are sadly a disposable items ~ are there any current models that will use the same ink carts because I suspect unless you can fully check and clear the paper path and sensors yourself even if canon will do it the cost might be prohibitive!
