argos are selling these for £26.67.

i have one reserved for store pickup, a great price if you have a local store with stock to cut down on p&p.
 
Out of stock at all the local branches to me - drat !
 
Amazing price... but surprise surprise they are out of stock at the nearest 12(!) Argos branches to me... smells a bit fishy to me ;)
 
These were available at the 4 nearest stores to me last night, out of stock today.

You got to be quick for bargains like this.

Bargain 5DMK2 grip still available!.

Mine said that too but did allow' order into store' but only for one battery, if I tried twice it refused, same for the grip deal, so may be worth teaching the message you saw.
 
I think the site is bugged. Says in stock, allows you to select and order in store, but sends you an email saying out of stock and no reservation number.

Does that if you try to order more than the amount listed as 'available' to order, which in my case was 1 (and appeared to be 1 for every local store that allowed it too), bet if you retry and just order 1 the confirmation will work, did for me anyway, same for the grip.
 
If the stock figure in incorect at the store then you will not get the confirmation email. Once the store gets your reservation they check and if they don't have it you will get a email saying not available.
 
for people in the south west. Wantage, witney and abindon have one each in stock.

Also happens with 1. Called up, and the advisor said their system showed no stock, even though the website showed as 'in stock'.

On the plus side, I have friends who have successfully ordered several, so some stores do/did have stock.
