i am after this sort of lens 70-300 canon with USM ?????? unless someones flogging one on here

Try and get hold of a 70-300, not the 75-300.

There must be a huge copy variation with the 75-300. Mine was absolutely desperate and I've seen many reports from others that look to be similar.

Despite the fact that some folk have one that they're happy with, I could never begin to recommend it as there are so many bad ones out there.
