Canon iX6550 B&W Printing problem

Hi there,

I have a Canon iX6550 printer which I love and does lovely colour prints but so far I am struggling with Black and White prints. Whenever I print in B&W I seem to get a very slight purple/magenta cast to the photos, even if I print with the grayscale setting on, I don't think its just my eyes playing tricks and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

Just to let you know I always print through Lightroom 3 or Lightroom 4 beta, so i guess this could have something to do with it but im not sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

cause the printer only has one black - all one black printers are like this. nothing much you can do about it I'm afraid

Ah thanks, thats a bit annoying guess I will have to get my prints done elsewhere for B&W then, which is good and bad i suppose. Will give DsColour labs a go
