MP610 is fairly old now but compatibles are very cheap as long as the printer is working OK. We still use an iP3600 at work which is a similar age. Good thing is they have removable print heads that can be manually cleaned if required.

iP7250 is a slightly newer range and slightly more expensive compatibles but still pretty cheap. It doesn't have a scanner and has quite a large footprint (size of printer). I've also seen 2 instances of this printer having an error code that renders it unusable but others are still going strong. We found this printer pretty slow when we used it in our offices and I would struggle to recommend personally.

If you need any further advice just help, I work for an Ink Cartridge retailer so have a bit of knowledge on the subject :)

Ah... just realised we spoke in PM yesterday :) How much are both of the printers going for by the way? Might give me an idea if they're worth it over buying new.

I have had the MP610 for a few years now and it's never missed a beat. Has a scanner and can print DVD's. I have a USB bluetooth dongle in it so I can print from my laptop/phone from anywhere in the house.
FWIW I would recommend it.
I've no experiance of the 7250
