im not sure i can justify £50 odd for a cable that basically just joins the camera hot to an adaptor on the end of a coiled cord..

am i being blind, is there any cheaper alternatives? i want to retain TTL if poss..

warehouseexpress would be helpful, i want to try and order one this morning for delivery tomorrow if poss.

I'm sure there are loads on ebay that will do just as good a job.
 
This is where your local jessops may help you out, open from nine, and, for now, convenient.
 
I've got a Yongnuo off-camera shoe cord OC-E3 going spare if you want it. You can have it free, although it would be nice if you donated a couple of quid to TP. If you want it PM me your address and I'll send it off tomorrow. I'd guess it would be Monday or Tuesday before you got it though.

I've only ever used it to try it out and it worked fine. It's supposed to be 3 ft or so but it's coiled and only looks about 1 ft without stretching it. I ended up buying some wireless ones instead and this has just been sat on a shelf since I got it.
