Canon G10 Strap Screws

Hi there,

In addition to my SLR I have a Canon G10 which has got a lot of use recently. Unfortunately I went to pick it up the other day and the two case screws that hold the strap on were missing. Google reports this as a common problem and the advice is to contact Canon.

I have rung Canon support several times and just received a number for a parts supplier who do not seem to answer the phone ever.

Can anyone tell me the size of the screws that I need and is there anywhere which will just sell me a couple of them?

I'd be inclined to go and smile sweetly at your local decent jeweller's/watch repairer ( not the lies of Ratner's as was) and see if they can come up with a solution.
