Yes
Having decided to sell my KM/Sony DSLR kit I can't seem to make up my mind bewteen the Canon and the Panasonic .
I love the idea of the fast lens on the LX3 but I'm not sure if I could cope with the small zoom the Canon seems to tick all of the boxes but is it going to deliver the same quality as the Panasonic. Has anyone had the same decision to make? What did you decide on?

i had this dilemma and went for the G10, as its not all about IQ to me, i wanted more flexibility in terms of zoom.

I now have a G11 and what i was concerned about with the G10 (low light) has been totally rectified in the G11, low light and high sensitivity shooting has improved 2x a least. one thing though, i do think that there is slightly more noise at ISO80 than there used to be, but its so minimal.

above 80 the G11 kicks the 10's butt. and is much more usable up to 800

Looks like most have decided on the GF1 to throw a spanner in the works, I used a G9 to take some rally pictures yesterday and while I got some decent shots the shutter lag and slow AF was a real problem.

TBH after coming from a DSLR I don't think a compact is versatile enough to be my only camera, the GF1 seems to be a better compromise, small but with similar functions to a DSLR

The GF1 looks very nice but I can't justify the cost I'm afraid - I decided to get rid of my SLR kit because I don't use it enough to justify the cost - the GF1 would make it even worse!
