Hey guys!
I'm new to TalkPhotography and really need some help. Basically my Grandad bought me a few weeks ago a vintage camera bag and only realized when he got home that there was a Canon FTb camera inside (bargain for £2). Anyways I only have the body of the camera and I am finding it really hard to find a lens for the camera. A lot of adapters keep popping up but I don't know what lens fits what. If you could help me out I would be really thankful.

Caitlin!

Yes, you don't need to use adapters; any FD lens will work an FTb. The older breechblock versions are more period-correct for the body, but later FDn bayonet fit lenses will work equally well.

You could try Ffordes as they carry a wide selection or keep an eye on the forum classifieds here if/when you gain access.

A 50mm f/1.8 would be a good, cheap place to start.
