Hi All,
Forum newbie here and just in the process of getting back into using my old cameras again.
I recently resurrected my old Canon T50 and was looking to add to the 50mm standard lens that it came with. As such I had a look on the old faithful fleebay and found a Miranda 35-70mm 1:3.5-4.5 MC lens with an FD mount. Given the T50 has an FD mount, I just presumed that it would be correct but it turns out that the mount on the Miranda lens looks the same as the 'male' type mount that's actually on the camera but not the same as the 'female' mount on the original 50mm lens, if that makes sense?
I can't post links yet to show the different mounts unfortunately.
It seems my limited knowledge has scuppered me, do I need to obtain an adapter or have I just wasted by cash?
Many thanks in advance.
