Yes
I've managed to get a good copy of this lens for my Canon AE1 (thanks for the tip @Mr Badger)

For those that have experience of this lens, would I be right in saying it's impossible to fit a polariser or any kind of step-up ring to the lens, due to how the lens moves through the focal range?

TIA

The filter threads are round the front element (where the writing is) rather than on the lens hood part, so it's not possible to fit step rings or Cokin style filter holders, and I think trying to use a polarising filter would be a nightmare if not impossible. I usually fit a skylight filter to my FD lenses but I use this lens without any filter at all and it's been fine.

I used mine the other weekend at a vintage rally on an AV1 and it gave a good enough account of itself. I hope you enjoy using yours too. (y)
