Canon ex90 speedlite
Hi all has anyone purchased this new speedlite? The blurb indicates it acts as a master only? Which will be interesting for macro work because of its small weight and size. With one or dual flashes as slaves on brackets? Ie one times Ex 90 and two x ex270s for cameras like my 50D without wireless built in, and still cheaper than than the mt24. Also you have the flexibility for other work? And not paying out for the st-e2? Presently the prices will be high but will soon drop.comments. Please. Mike

I don't suppose anybody has got one yet. It's not a master-only, but a small regular gun with mastering built-in.

If an ST-E2 is too much, look at the Yongnuo ST-E2 clone. Or check out the new Yongnuo 622 radio TTL triggers that are getting a lot of favourable attention, mainly because they appear to actually work quite well, and are amazingly cheap!

Thought this was going to be released in October 2012 along with the new Canon mirrorless EOS M digital camera.

When I read the release specifications, I noticed that it uses the smaller AAA batteries whereas all other Speedlites use AA.

hi hoppy the yongnuo 622c will have to have two Recievers for the flashguns, I was trying to keep the weight down for hand held macro. The ex90 only weighs about 50g I will look more into the yongnu copy of the st-e2 which will give the option of different ratios. Mike
