Am getting err 01 with my Canon 100L macro mounted on my 7D 2
It's a mystery as when I put on a different lens onto the 7D 2 (Sigma macro) it's ok and if I mount the 100L macro onto my 7D mk 1 it's fine
For some reason it's the combination of the 7D mk 2 and the 100 L that's the problem
The shutter fires then Err 01 is displayed
I've tried the obvious things like cleaning the contacts and swapping out the battery
I'm really puzzled
Probably will have to send it to Canon but at the moment I'm out every spare moment taking pictures so for now I'll have to use the lens on my 7D mk 1
I've been using the camera and lens for a few years with no issues at all until today

both camera and lens are ok on their own when swapped with other lens and body but the 7D 2 and 100L won't work together
