So, I unearthed my old EOS 60D and it has (re-)scratched an itch... IR mod it for astro.
Anyone got any recommendations for what mod to perform : I'm thinking rear filter & sensor reposition rather than full filter removal but I'm open to be guided/convinced either way...
Also any recommendations for who to perform the mod (definitely not a DIY task at present as much as I'd love to have that Heathkit moment ["you'll be proud to say, 'I built it myself'"] - I'll save that for the picture(s) assuming the cloud ever clears when the skies are dark)
