Canon EOS 1d MK 2 N Software help needed

Hi all,

I have recently acquired the above camera as my second body (the first being an EOS 6d).

I have one slight frustration in that the retailer that sold me the above as a used camera did not include the software disc. This generally is not that important other than I cannot get my version of the EOS utility to work with my camera.

This is mainly an issue as I am trying to change the author for the photos so my name is there as opposed to the earlier owner of the above body.

Can anybody help me? I have a second computer so could install the utility if I had it. I only seem to be able to find an update for the software on the canon site which is annoying as my version released with the 6d does not appear to be compatible!

Help!?!?!

You can download previous versions form Canon's web site. EOS Util 2 should work with it.
 
That is a bit of a pain but not insurmountable.

I am still struggling to find the utility itself. I don't suppose anybody has a link?

I can only find updates which isn't working on windows 8

Thanks for the links but these files don't seem to work (they are updates)

I will pop in to the shop I purchased the camera from to see if they can find me the original software.

Brief update.

The registry edit of adding the key for the utility name appears to have worked for the installation of the software which is cool. now all I need is a FireWire cable by all accounts!!!!
