Canon EF 70-300mm not focussing properly

Hi all

I have a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 IS USM Lens which is just over a year old that will not focus correctly. It is trying to focus but seems to miss it slightly. I have tried it on another body and it is the same. As it is just outside warranty period can anyone suggest a good place to send for repair.

Never mind seems to be fine now!!!!!!!

What was the issue then? Just got mine and loving it to pieces.
