just about to buy a Canon EF 400mm f/5.6 L USM second hand £750 is this a good price here is a bit of info on the lens from the seller

Excellent condition, with no visible damage of any kind. It's never been dropped or mishandled in any way. I've had a Hoya 77mm HD Digital Protector fitted since new and this is included in the sale.

I've owned this lens from new. I purchased it from Flash Camera (Kerso) in March 2010. I've shot no more than 10,000 photos

It doesn't seem an unreasonable price although I would try and knock him down to around 700.

Do you have the opportunity to see the lens and use it prior to the sale?

You can get a new one for £900. Although if your budget is £750 then me saying that is pretty pointless.
