Yes
OK, I decided to try DPP because the raw output from my 50D is supposed to be very good.

Only it isn't in the software package that came with my camera. Canon's download for the latest version requires the CD, anyone know how I can get hold if it?

Thanks

Should have been with the camera, did you buy new/what software did you get, did you get Zoom Browser etc.

Yep, bought new, I don't touch the software that comes with a new camera so the bag it came in was unopened. I've got a disc with zoombrowser on but couldn't see an install for DPP on it - I remember on my 40D the DPP disc was seperate.

want a copy of mine...??????

With the 7D is all on one, try instaling, should put all the software on for you including DPP.

You can get the software for the canon website, then if you look in the tutorial links forum, I did a thread on how you can install it

Thanks for all your help guys - I've found the tutorial on how to get the latest version working without the disk

Although another read of the Canon website indicates the zoombrowser disc should be enough to get the install going, might give that a go first

Thanks again though.

If you install Zoombrowser from your cd, then go on line and upload the lastest version of zoombrowser, you will also be able to upload all the latest versions of their software - including DPP - You only need to have one of them registered n your windows registry and it will then allow all the updates and new release of software.
