Canon CR2 RAW`s in Photoshop CS4

Please help!!!

I have Photoshop CS4 which opened CR2 files from my 450D without a problem but it`s not opening CR2 files from my 5D II. A window opens with the message "this is the wrong file type". Is it a different type of CR2 file.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

you have to update your camera raw

It is a different file, yes.

Thanks guys, I think I`ve cracked it.

The latest version of ACR is 5.5 (if I remember rightly) I think you need 5.3 onward to open the CR2's from the 5d2. Install the latest version and it should work fine.

I just downloaded version 5.5, problem solved.
