Hi people.

This is my first post to these pages.

I own a Canon Powershot SX60HS. It does all I need for my photography. But I have a problem.

In the past I could use the ‘Camera connect’ program on my iPads and iPhone. But recently it don’t seem to work anymore. I have researched this on the Canon site and it seems to be a common fault now-days. I would say it is broken, but there is nothing there to brake.

I even have the genuine Apple Card reader, and that also does not seem to be seen by any of my iPads or iPhone.

I also recently obtained a WiFi SD card holder. It does allow me to download 1 or 2 pics very slowly and then it disconnects.

Question. Is there any other options for downloading my pics to iPads or iPhone?

Thanking you all in eager anticipation.

Photo Transfer app is what you need.

Thanks for your answer Mike. Photo transfer app. The ones that I tried, only allow photos to be transferred from one device such as iPhone to iPads. It does not see the camera.that has WiFi.
it already does that. If I take a pic with the iPhone, the iPads also see it.

Have there been any IOS updates just before this problem occurred, if so then you may just have to wait until another update or Canon may introduce an update to their app. Have you tried reinstalling the app and settings?

Thanks both Gramps and Mintchocs. Gramps. I already have one of those genuine Apple Card readers. Yes there has been iOS updates for the iPads and phone. Good point.

Sorted and so simple.
I asked myself, why is the expensive Apple Card reader not working? It was at the time the easiest way to get my pics onto any of my apple devise.
So I got my WD40 contact cleaner, and gave a squirt into the port of one of my iPads (the old one) and a squirt on the plug of the reader. Inserted it in and out a few times. Turned it on, plugged in the card reader, with a card in it with some test pics... Walla. It now works. As now do the other devices as gave the same treatment.
