canon 7d sigma 12-24 or 10-20

need some help i have a sigma 12-24 not sure if i should trade it in for the 10-20,am shooting all sorts can anyone help :thinking:
 
If you have any plans to ever go FF, stick with the 12-24. Those 2mm do make a difference though, so if you're finding the short end not wide enough, that sort of answers your question.
 
the canon 10-22 is a nice lens. maybe a touch dearer . but one or 2 in the for sale section
 
Another thumbs up for the Canon.

Although, when I was buying mine, the view on the sigma appeared to be, that there are a lot of DOA ones, but if you manage to get a good one, they are worth keeping.
This was why I went for the Canon, I just didn't want the hassle of not fully trusting the lens when I got it.

What is the 12-24mm failing to do that you think the 10-22mm will achieve?
 
Sigma 12-24mm doesn't have filter thread, and that is a big show stopper. There may be more issues to add to list...

I would suggest Tokina 12-24mm or 11-16mm to start with, they perform much better than Sigma 10-20mm
