Yes
I shoot with a 6d and 5d MKII so both full frame.
I am looking something that can double up as a zoom at a wedding which I do unite a few of and while mainly covered by my primes I sometimes wish for something with more reach.
I also do some landscapes and wildlife for chill time so the 300mm would be great but f4 throughout Vs f4-5.6.
I assume both are equally sharp but would be interested to hear from any that owns either lens
Thx
John

I read the 70/300 is a little softer than 70/200 when both are a at max reach, bit unfair as one is at 300 the other at 200. I have a 70/200 and it is sharp, from wide open. What about a 100/400 5.6L, bit slow maybe but a brilliant lens. You won't be dissapoined with a 70/200 f4 IS though, so long as it fills the frame for you. It takes a 1.4 converter really well.

100-400 would be a bit much to double up at weddings but you may have hit on it with the 70/200 and 1.4 convertor which is lying upstairs gathering dust
