Canon 70-200 f/4 is ii usm OR Lumix 70-300 f/4.5-5.6 Macro IOS

Hello all,

Just wondering if some of you may be able to offer an opinion on the above 2 lenses?
I have the option of buying one or the other, and I'm struggling to decide without having owned either.

I'll be using solely for landscape photography, and being used on my Lumix S5 (Canon with the mc-21 converter.)

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Why not just buy the good old and cheap mk1 if you are on the budget, or else just go for the proper option for your system.

I had II and just could not see a definitive reason to keep it over mk1, and in fact it absolutely stank at 70mm

I've got the 70-300 Lumix and can't fault it. I don't use it all that often but picked it up new when it was on sale.
