Yes
I recently bought a canon 60mm macro and while i was putting it away tonight i noticed it has a rattle if you rock it back and forth, it sounds like an element or the aperture section has back and forth movement, is this normal? im quessing its not.
Anyone else with lens that can tell me if theres does it, it takes no force to get mine to rattle literally just tilting it back and forth on its axis causes it.

It may be nothing to worry about- the Canon 50mm 1.4 EF has quite a clonk when you tip the lens back and forth sharply but it's quite normal..

Thanks for the reply, i was able to see a mate today that has the same lens except it a few years old now and his makes exactly the same noise which put my mind at ease some.
