Canon 60d - Where to buy

Hey guys, im looking to get a Canon 60D either this week or next and am shopping around for the best deal. Not too fussed if i comes with a lens or not all depends on the price and only really want new. Also want UK edition not China/Japan Import as I keep seeing

There is also DigialRev but all the reviews so it is an import model. May I also ask what is the difference between a UK model and Import model. Thanks

I'd avoid pretty much all of those. The chance of you actually receiving any goods from some of them is very small indeed. Plenty of other threads around on most of them. Even if they did send a camera it would be a grey import.

Grey and UK versions are the same apart from the battery charger and the manual (which most of the decent Hong Kong shops will stick in a copy). The main drawback is that your camera has no local Canon warranty, so you need to think whether that is important to you. If you want to look at reliable grey import suppliers then I personally have had good experience from HDEW and Kerso (Flash Camera), and most people here seem to like Panamoz.

However if you want a UK version, might be worth watching Amazon at 540pm. They've got a 60D in today's lightning sale.

I got my 60d from hdew it was a grey import but I have no issues with that. Comes with warranty through a third party company.
