Hi, got a problem when trying to take a photo with my Canon 60d with a st-e2 wireless flash unit sending signal to my Interfit 200 studio liting.
Flash meter says to set apature to f22 at ISP 100 (flash set to 1/60).
When you view the image then all you get is a black screen.
Tried altering the shutter speen, to change
Also tried using the cameras internal wireless function, again the same outcome.
I think it has to be no sync between shutter and flash firing, but am scratching my head.
Any help would be gratefully received.
Thanks

Your ST-e2 unit is for eTTL off camera speedlights, not studio lights. Meaning your studio lights aren't firing at the correct time (if at all). They will fire on the initial pulse from the ST-E2, which actually carries the setup information to the speedlights, before the second impulse tells the speedlights to fire. The shutter starts to open as the second impulse is sent, hence no image as the studio lights have already fired, and haven't recharged to fire again.
Try using a sync lead, as that will sort it in the short term.
What you need is a set of radio triggers, like the yongnuo RF602

Thanks for the advice, just taken the hobby back up and learning as I go.

Much appreciated
