Canon 5DMkII Sensor

A friend of mine thinks he may have to replace the CMOS Sensor in his Canon 5DMkII. I was wondering if anybody knew how much it would cost to buy a new one and get it replaced.

wouldn't bother personally would just buy a new camera not sure of the cost but is a BIG job you sure he doesn't mean the shutter?
