Canon 5d3 settings for fast moving sport.

Evening folks,

I have a very important shoot on Tuesday and didn't want to rely on my creaking old 7d so i have rented out a 5d3 and 70-200 f2.8 IS ii for a few days.

My sport is downhill mountain biking and while i have my 7d set up perfectly i am struggling getting my head round all the settings of the 5d3 so turning to you good people.

Anyone with any settings at all, mainly on the focus side. case settings, sensitivity etc as i have been out today with my lad and the dog and been quite hit and miss with moving subjects.

Still shots were great but my success with the fast moving dog wasn't as good as i would like.

So anyone help me out please?

I use the same combination every day on my dogs,I'm on case 3.
Manual 1/400,f2.8 ISO auto ,then I ajust from there.
