Canon 580exII flash bulb gone

I think the flash tube on my flashgun has blown or broken, it doesn’t work and there is a worrying rattling noise like loose glass! Am I able to change myself or is it off to canon??

Off to Canon in my view as I understand there's some seriously high powered electrics in there.

And quite possibly cheaper to buy a s/h than repair.
