Hi everyone,
I've come across a 550d for sale at £510. It comes with 18-55 is lens, BG-E8 battery grip, charger, battery, oem battery and 4gb sdhc card. Described as mint, 1 year old and 4000 actuations. Is this a fair price?

I bought my 550D earlier this year second hand from LCE. Came as new, boxed with everything it should, 6 months warranty and only 1200 actuations. Bought it body only for £400 which at the time was pretty good. The grips are normally somewhere around £100 second hand on a good day and kit lens is worth about £40-£50.

All in all £510 sounds a reasonable deal if its boxed with all connections, instructions, cd's etc, although I would try to get it down below £500 if u can.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply.

I guess the warranty is worth paying for - I'd hate to pay out £500 only to find out I'd bought a box full if problems!

Cheers, Dean.

Unfortunately, its in Cambridge so viewing would be difficult. I've decided to pass on this one, as I don't mind buying remotely if I know the seller - but in this instance I don't. If anyone local to Cambridge is interested, I'm happy to pass on the details.
