Help Please!!!

I dropped my Canon 550d at the weekend. Long storey short, it was my own fault but I was lucky and hasn't done too much damage. It has bent the Left Hand hot shoe bracket. I have teased it back out and can now fit my flash but its tight and am worried that any more gentle persuasion will snap it. I have used a popular search engine to find a replacement but cant find anything. I assumed I would find a bracket for a couple of pounds and eBay and a tutorial on YouTube but no. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The hot shoe is attached by three screw covered by a very thin metal plate which can be prised off with a thin bladed screwdriver. Try to find a camera repair shop and see if they will obtain and sell you a hotshoe.

Thanks Redsnapper your input is appreciated. Simon just what I wanted thank you. Any chance you can find me something a little cheaper tho??
