Too good to be true, maybe, well probably. If you look at EBay now they have listed the Canon 500mm F4, promises mint condition, serial number etc, with a UK address, for a buy it now of £1000. might be of interest and worth a look.

If something seems to good to be true it probably is.
 
...and the seller can only be reached outside of ebay,5k worth of glass and accessories for 1K!! need we go any further?
 
I just bought 10 of them, loads left...will make myself a tidy profit.

Reported to Ebay, an obvious scam, looks like a legit account has been hacked.
 
Some email this guy and say you live in Cornwall and would pick it up. Sure they will back down!
 
i caught out a scammer on there and bid up to 15 grand.people must be stupid to fall for it though......
 
I didn't see the ad, but I had dealings with a scammer a while back, in Cornwall, when looking for a Nikon lens that was a few grand.
I kept saying that I would send someone to the house to check it before I paid. It suddenly went quiet. The same lens then appeared at an address in Scotland! He obviously thought that was far enough away to get rid of me.
How wrong he was!! The ad then disappeared.
