Canon 470 ex ai

I saw an article about this flash gun today.

Looks very interesting and I can see the benefits but it also looks a bit gimmicky.

Im curious what it is like on battery consumption and how quick it would keep up in say a wedding shoot style environment where everything is fast paced.

Or would it simply be a case of most folk will disable the ai element.
