Canon 450 + RC5

I have recently bought an RC5 remote from Millow (cheers Millow ) on here and have been trying to use it with my 450D. Works perfectly on timed release - i.e 2 seconds from me pushing the button, but i can't seem to get it to work instantly from the button.

Can anyone please offer any assistance??

On the RC-1 there's a switch on the remote that you slide across to change from 2-seconds to instant... That's the only help I can give I'm afraid.

The RC 5 only works with a 2 second delay, the RC 1 has the option of both immediate and a 2 second delay.
