Canon 420EX

Hi all,

I'm after a flash, and i think this is what i need?

Basically, i'm taking some shots at my cousins wedding, which is going to be at a regisrty office, i have been down there and can use flash when the ceremony isnt flowing, and can obv use it in the grounds, and the hotel afterwards.

So, i'm after something that i can use on & off camera, off camera will probably be in my hand, or held by a family member.

Hoping to get some fill flash & some bouncing off walls, the hotel afterwards is supposedly quite dark.

So...

1) Will the 420EX do the job?
2) What is the best (and least messy) method of going off camera?
3) Stofen will be a good idea i guess?

If anyone can help me with any of the above i would be most greatfull.

I do appologise if this has been covered, my searching skills are not too great.

yes the 420ex will do the the job

you can get cables for off camera flash - will pribely be easiest if your holding it and you can use it with ETTL

yes i think a stofen is a good idea

Would a Nissin Di622 do the job?

I'm trying to keep costs down atm, and these seem quite well specc'd?
