Canon 420 and 430 speedlights?

The 430EX has a little bit more power and also supports FEC.

I believe the 430 has a faster recycle time. Mine is virtually instant.
 
hmm, well im not really worried about waiting an extra few secs for it to recharge.
Seems a waste in paying that much more for such a small change.

These are very important improvements but, IMO, the 420EX is a very viable flash unit and can often be obtained used at a very good price. I use a 420EX and a 550EX as my pair of flashes and don't really see any need to upgrade.
