london cameras in guildford have quoted 599 for a new 40D, and they also do p/ex etc.
has anyone used them atall, they seem very friendly on the phone....

Not sure if Wilkinson Cameras part ex via post, but they have the 40D in for £549 (I think it's around £9 delivered)

I've dealt with our local branches (Blackburn & Preston) several times and been very pleased with service I've received.

You could also try Stuart @ Digtal Depot or Kerso on here

Another thought might be worth printing this off and seeing if LC will price match. :shrug:
