Can anyone tell me if Courtenay 300 Pro Studio Lights are ok to use with a
Canon 350D/Digital Rebel xt using a Kaiser Flash Shoe Adapter or is something else required.

Welcome to TP Ian :)

That should work, but there is the usual question of higher trigger voltages of older flashes damaging modern cameras. You can check it with a volt meter.

For complete safety, and wireless triggering, get a radio trigger such as the Yongnuo RF-602. A guy on here, Flash In The Pan, sells them for £28 a set, post #2 on the link. Check with him re compatability but they should be fine http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=157807
