Yes
I took some photos on my Canon 350D in RAW B/W mode for the first time, and the PC can't see them on the camera! I've tried "PTP mode" and "PC mode" , not sure what else to try; I'e tried googling; no use.

Tried canon help, no use. Tried calling, they're closed. I'll try again on monday if I don't find out sooner. Would be nice to find out sooner though as I need to see these now ideally on the PC.

Was just wondering if anyone else has had similar problems and knows this problem and what the solution might be?

I might be misunderstanding this, but do you have a RAW viewer?

I've note had this problem, but having done a bit of googling it appears that doing a settings reset on your camera might help. I'd make sure you take the memory card out before you do, just in case, but it shouldn't affect storage.

** I only offer this as a suggestion, and take no responsibility for any side effects ** ;)

Can you use a card reader to transfer from the CF card to PC?

If it's the first time you've used RAW and you have no RAW software installed on your PC that will be it.

That could be it. If you connect the camera via USB and use the software which came with it (Camera Window) then you should be OK.

You should have DPP on one of the disks that came with the camera. That has RAW conversion software

No, It is not a problem with viewing raw images, I have plenty or RAW software and have used it many times to convert CR2 to JPG and the likes etc etc. I have microsoft raw viewing enabled on the PC etc etc it is not a problem with that at all.

Its a problem with the PC literally not seeing the FILES on the camera. Hence I cannot transfer them.
