canon 300l 2.8 lens

hi I have a 300l 2.8 lens and am going to bye an extender which one is the best to have the 1.4 or 2 times extender thanks

It depends on what you want to photograph, 1.4x will give better image quality 2x will give more range so which do you think is the more important of the two? Remember you can always crop the image more if the quality is good so take that into account as well.

Get them both if you can ! mk111 2x works pretty good

I carry both and a mono-pod helps with the 2x
