Canon 300 2.8 IS problems...

Im sure than mine does but to be honest i have never used IS other than when i first got the lens a few years back as i found it did not really help. I am home from work about 5.30 so will put it on the camera and give it a try but i think its standard from what i remember.
 
Does it keep shaking? Or does it shake initially, then settle down?
 
I've seen what he means first hand - he showed me on Sunday. It shakes like crazy all the time AF is active.

Its not a question of the OP not knowing how IS is supposed to look, it is just going mental.
 
???:suspect: with that type of comment I would deffently send it for a service, as its weather seals might of gone.
