Hi all, I'm asking on behalf a friend (honestly!), so only have basic info, but wondering if this rings a bell with anyone.
The LCD screen works, as it can be used when in video mode. However the screen remains completely blank when in image shooting mode, or trying to access the menu.
Any thoughts? I don't believe this model has a sensor near the viewfinder which turns off the LCD when holding it up to your eye.
