canon 1D MKIII Direct printing question.

I've been asked to help a friend by printing photos to go into keyrings. I'm using a Canon 1D MKIII and Canon Pixma iP4700 printer but I'm having trouble at printing images the correct size for the keyring (45mm x 35mm).

With the "35 UP" setting, the print comes out at as a 35mm negative (35mm x 30mm) but ONLY 1 print rather than the designated 35. The overall print size is OK, but I'm loosing image detail as it's printed out like a negative. In the camera's instructions, it states an option "XX-UP" so I can print between 2 and 20 images per sheet, but my cameras not showing this on the screen.

Is there anyway to change the settings please?

Have you tried printing them through any software like elements or photoshop? you can adjust to the exact size with them and print out a contact sheet with as many images as will fit on the page .........

No because all I was hoping to do is take the printer along rather than the laptop aswell.
